About the game

Dreadwoods is a free browser MMORPG in the spirit of the old-school classics. You wash up on Hope Beach with a linen shirt and very little else, learn a trade, and walk on from there: to Calverton, the Capital and its harbour, a train line that runs west, the frozen north, and the Dreadwoods, where dragons, spider dens and a Glacial Behemoth wait for people who have done their homework.

There is no download and no launcher. You make a free account, build a character in the designer, and play in a tab on a computer or a phone. There are thirteen skills to train, quests with real stories, boss fights with warnings you can learn to dodge, and contests, trains and fishing derbies for the days you do not want to fight.

Logo and colours

The mark is two bare pines with the gate between them and a crimson moon behind. Use the logo (SVG) on a dark background, and write the name as Dreadwoods, one word. Please do not stretch, recolour or redraw it, and do not put it on a light or busy background.
